Full Description
When selecting scaffolding for any work project, strength, durability, and safety are key deciding factors. The scaffold must be regulation-compliant as well as strong enough to support personnel and materials. Scaffold decking is not a component to be overlooked. Metal decking can be too open for some tools and materials and when suspended, could create a hazard for anyone working or passing below. Some wooden decks will warp if exposed to harsh elements, or degrade over time. These decks may not be the best choice to support heavier supplies and materials.
The solution is the Louisville Ladder Scaf-A-Deck, which accepts a ½” plywood deck over an aluminum base. The wooden deck is made from plywood, not a solid wood board, and will not warp under most circumstances. The scaffold deck also supports 75 lbs. per square foot. It attaches securely to the aluminum deck frame, while metal extrusions protect the deck’s edges from exposure to the elements.
Aluminum & Wood Scaffold Decks – PD Series Features:
Nail Lock – Heavy duty hook reinforcement plates help withstand abusive loads.
Edge Guard – Extrusion protects edges of plywood.
Heavy Duty – 1/2″ exterior grade plywood deck fastened with special rivets. Deck is also easily replaced.
