Baker Type Scaffolding / Rolling Tower ST Series
Baker staging is a type of metal scaffold which is easy to assemble. It is constructed of rolling platforms. These platforms can be stacked up to three sections high with the use of added outriggers. This type of scaffold includes a work platform whose height is also adjustable.
The Louisville Ladder Group’s Fortruss® Baker Type Scaffolding is a popular baker scaffold that meets or exceeds both ANSI and OSHA standards. The scaffold’s sturdy steel construction and unique features are combined in a single unit whose strength, stability and ease of use set it apart from the competition. This scaffold sets the industry standard as many of its features have been patented. For example, its unique design dramatically reduces the “wobble” that is associated with most rolling scaffolds.
The Fortruss® baker scaffold allows easy single worker assembly and adjustment. Louisville Ladder Group features 3′ and 6′ high models and lengths of 6′ and 8′. This scaffold design may also be stacked; OSHA permits up to three units to a maximum height of 15 feet. If stacking the unit to a height that exceeds 6 feet, outriggers are required.
